    Just seen the replay of Let's Dance falling at Punchestown - the horse got up fine but she fell with her full weight on Ruby, that must have really hurt. He was sitting up after the fall but jeez, that must have hurt. Hope he is OK. Puts the sport we love into perspective.

    World Hurdle (or is it Ladbroke Hurdle these days?) horse Thomas Campbell. Very efficient hurdler, has tactical speed and devoured the hill after the last today. Very good win that, and surely he will be upped to graded class now.

    Thanks guys. We are very pleasantly surprised. Hats off to FOB...even the ones needing a run are winning and didnt she do it well.
    I honestly have only backed her in a double with the Dons horse..thats all.

    I'm in a syndicate with the rest of the lifeboat crew. 20 of us pay £1 a week.
    £10 e/w on Splash of Ginge today. When I put it on we got 50/1. Not a bad day after all :)

    Got back last night from the November meeting....first time I have been and really enjoyed it...only downside was the weather that no one it seems predicted!. Bloody awful.. lots more room compared to the festival week though but my word £5.30 a pint of carling now??? Jeezzzz

    I put a bet on 5 races...lost in 3 and backed starchitect eaxh way and posh Trish in the last... couple of girls in front of us stuck 40 quid on the nose on splash of ginge as one of them was...yep you guessed it ginger! Counting out 1000 quid they were...nice days pay that...
