Just as well. Excessable folded when looking the winner a furlong out. Hawatif simply not good enough

It's only WORDS and WORDS are all I have to take your heart away. 7/2 in the Irish Oaks will do for me today.

5:15 Curragh - Monsieur Joe 20/1 ew I fully expect to Meccas Angel to win this but 20s is too big to ignore on this horse even with young O'Brien on board

And Jack Naylor 10/1 in the Irish Oaks

I think the trainer of Mecca's Angel has a little question to answer regarding Mecca's Angel. He has pulled him out late of his last two events due to ground but ran him today. It dried out significantly this afternoon even though it had rained all week and the trainer essentially said 5 minutes before the off he wouldn't win and Mulrennan barely pushed him during the race. I personally don't think you got 100% effort from them. Personally I think that is wrong. On the other side the ground did dry rapidly but no doubt Mecca's Angel was best horse.

Good luck to you. I want the favourite Curvy but ironically, I went with Wordiness in the last at Newbury. He travelled smoothly throughout the race and benefited from Richard Hughes giving chief rival Castle Combe way too much to do having sat motionless at the back of the field until the last two furlongs and not getting a gap up the rails when he needed one.

Hugo knows his stuff...bring horse over. Employ best jockey around. Let him ride it as he see's it. Win.

    Well done Covert Love.

She was unbeaten this year, but she won a ten furlong Listed race at Newmarket last time, prior to which she had won a handicap and a maiden race. That really does demonstrate what a mediocre bunch of fillies the Classic generation are this year.

Covert Love was rated 109, Jack Naylor was rated 108. If the favourite ran to her 112 rating, the winner will not get to 120 when re-assessed.
