Wasn't it just a bloody great ride on the winner lads? If Moore's ride was poor then everyone else's bar the winner was equally poor if not worse and i find it hard to believe that 8 jockey's have had total mares. Credit where credit is due doesn't hurt every once in a while.
Agree great ride by the winner, but he has done it again in that race got the horse boxed in, let the others get away and found plenty when he got a clear run but asked the horse to do far far far too much. I bet Hughes is lauging all the way to the Jockey Championship he would have booted both home in my eyes. Ryan Moore gets some great rides but doesnt always get them home when he should have
Get in Kian's Delight! I hope some of you were on (although I know you probably weren't). Punt landed. One to go.
It was a great ride by the winner Quel as he has got an inferior horse a finishing position greater than it should have done, the reason it's poor by Ryan Moore is simply because he has done the opposite in as much as he has been on the best horse but got it beat. It's even worse in as much as they have frequently placed Strong suit over a mile and so getting after the winner earlier was hardly going to see him not stay the trip. This is an excuse that the other market leader could have had as he was potentially a doubtful stayer. I have no doubt if you could take Ryan Moore to one side and say do you think you could win if we ran that again, i believe he would say without doubt. He made a mistake and is as entitled to as we all are and all do but there is no doubt in my mind it was a poor ride.
Eh? In a perfect world that's right Blue but we don't live in a perfect world and occasionally one jockey rides every one else to sleep. Sorry for those that lost money on the race. Never like seeing that on here. As an aside I don't know if you're trying to come across as funny or patronising but you've nailed the second one.
Stick, if there's a positive, it might mean you are more busy in the transfer market over the next few days now.
I agree with you Quel about the perfect world which is why i stated that he made a mistake as we all do, thats all part of it with racing and although it is a very well used remark it's still very true whenever it is said that the horse's are not machines and the jockeys not infailable. Which part in particular did you find patronising ? I have just re read it as that is never my intention and i genuinely could not find any of that post patronising, apologies if it came across that way.
Hughes should walk before he is sacked, that result is terrible. Feel for you QPR fans not acceptable at all
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM 2-1 to the toon get the **** in Any Spurs fans on here ? if so please pass on the word it is not acceptable to turn up to an away match and have two songs all game COME ON YOU SPURS OHHHH WHEN THE SPURS GO MARCHING IN - also absolute silenced when Newcastle scored until they equalised and again after the pen - awful support.
RV was it a full house? like Ibrox today for my teams 3rd Division whopping of the mighty East Stirling!
I think on our part its an act of defiance i only hope we can keep it going...your old man Ashley has taken 10% non director role but it allows us to tie up a deal with the Sport direct outlets and JJB is dusted re oldco liquidation Good luck to the Toon this year..!
