I'm boosting my winners at Newbury by backing Buick at Newmarket and he has got the favourite in the remaining races there
Integral looking to make it a 6th win in the Lockinge for Cheveley Park Stud and an 8th for Sir Michael Stoute - one reason why the bookmakers are very nervous with all those punters who have horses ridden by Ryan Moore in multiple bets!
Second to stable companion, oh well. Can't expect to win if you can't spell Toormore correctly... Some damn good racing today.
The price was helped by the bookmakers shortening up Integral – that dual Group 1 winning mare of Sir Michael Stoute’s in a race with “the only genuine G1 horse wins” – because they were afraid of their multiple bet liabilities. They saved me some money because I would not have it at 7/2 and shorter, whilst Night Of Thunder backers got a better price. The proximity of stablemate Toormore tells me that not much has changed – last year’s three-year-olds were mediocre aside from Kingman, so if this year’s are just above average they will clean up the all-aged races. If last year’s Guineas winner meets this year’s at some point this season, Aidan O’Brien’s colt will put his older rival firmly in his place, especially in receipt of weight for age. Problem is I expect Gleneagles to step up to ten furlongs. As Ryan Moore has no ride in the last race, he could not go through the card and three of his wins were on favourites (one odds-on). Congratulations to the Time Test followers, he won cosily enough that they may find another handicap for him before stepping up in class.
With Crystal Capella’s half sister Crystal Zvezda winning, Ryan Moore managed five out of six – the only loser being the one that I tipped!
Integral is a duel G1 winner against mares, she's never beaten the boys, and her only previous run against them she was tailed off, admittedly on soft ground. The price though in the end was ridiculous for her today, was 7/1 in the morning. I got 7/2 with Betfred about Night Of Thunder this morning, so suprised the sp wasn't bigger with the gamble on Integral
Three winners so far for him at Newmarket, 11/2, 7/1 and 11/10. Ryan Moore rode five winners so far at Newbury! (11/1, 8/13, 4/1, 7/2, 7/2)
Buick also went on to win the last, 2/1 SP. Decent return from following him today. Wish I had also followed Moore at Newbury, but oh well. More than happy with my return from Buick.
IN SBC 'we trust' ... Many thanks Sir Barney - as always much appreciated ...beers are now on the agenda ...

Changed my mind about the 7.30 at Uttoxeter - Flemensbay is most likely to win, unbeaten in 2 starts wearing cheekpieces including over C&D last time out. Have done reverse forecast with Minnie Mouse, who's a full sister to Mighty Man and should win a few more races if the going isn't soft or heavy.
