Connections of Waiting Patiently have had no luck. The ground is likely to be quicker that ideal by post time today with it being dry and breezy all day. Brought down last time. It must be very frustrating particularly when you've effectively got all your eggs in the one basket.

Black Corton looks a good thing today. Bryony lighting up the ITV coverage afterwards.

    Two bets for me today:

Ascot 2.10pm Black Corton 3/1 each way.

    Ascot 3.20pm Al Dancer 11/4

Looking forward to the Ascot chase as it's a cracking race. Will be interesting to see how Waiting Patiently gets on. I reckon Fox Norton is going to run a big race but it's a watching brief for me as can't be confident of the winner.

Interesting to see Daryl Jacob go to Wincanton today with so many options.

Good luck all. Cracking days racing..

    Sunk without trace <doh>

Against sentiment I'm on Black Corton next, but would love Coneygree to run well. Said it before, but I hate seeing once great grade 1 horses lumping loads of lead around in handicaps
