Speak to the Qataris. They can soon arrange the Doha Derby at an indoor racetrack with air conditioning. Just as soon as they can get in a few thousand labourers from the sub-continent to build it.

Was confident about Lightning Moon this morning but the way things are going if I could get my money back I would!

I'm still very hopeful of him though. Ed Dunlop is also hopeful - I'd be happier if he was bullish about him though!

That was impressive. Didn't expect that. And he'll be better on a sounder surface <yikes>

Indeed well done. I suspect that you all got on before the clerk of the course changed the official going to “Good (Good to Soft places)” at lunchtime.

I had already written off all of today’s cards for betting purposes because of the changing ground. Limato would have been half the price had the weather not intervened.

Emotionless was impressive, could be a Group 1 horse but trainer has a good record of making good looking 2yos disappear.

Looking forward to seeing Sanus Per Aquam again, hes been one of my favs so far, took 25s for the Derby.

11/10 was a great price about emotionless yesterday, 8/1 looks good for the Guiness

Highland Reel has won over 12f and made all in the Arlington Million so might well replicate those tactics.

Coolmore may hold back and hope Golden Horn takes a grip and does a "Dawn Approach"...unlikely however since GH can make it himself.

It's a hard call as he made a bit of a gap but not hugely and then Bondi Beache's jockey was encouraging his horse to lean. The second incident no chance of a reversal the first only a small chance as too far out.. No change.

What was SDS doing on Fields Of Athenrye? looked like a learner driver thinking about changing lanes on a motorway with no wing mirrors

BB was beaten by a couple of inches Blue...he lost more than that by the interference and was closing at the finish.

The fact that the winner is owned by the Al Thani's is a critical variable.
