This who will Ruby Walsh ride in the Gold Cup is such a pile of bollocks, even more tedious than the Champion Hurdle 'debate' last year.

Sticking with the bumpers, 2 are being run off at 5.00 amd 5.30 in Limerick this afternoon. Boy Capel caught my eye when I seen the decs and has been slightly supported throughout the day, 5/1 is worth a chance to prove too strong for those who have had a run, goes for Liz Doyle who can certainly ready one.

The 5.30 race looks half decent and the all the usual suspects are represented but it's the smaller yard of Terence O'Brien and Articulum who catch the eye, just 13/8 currently, that form behind New To This Town looks strong enough to take this heat though.

Boxing Clever turned the race on its head but The Sneaky Punter did it well. Gamble foiled on Boy Capel!

As stated above the gamble on Boy Capel went astray, another day for him.

Articulum had the minimum of fuss dispatching his rivals as I thought and he looked very good, a nice staying prospect for the future <ok>

Just reading Terence O'Briens comments, he states Articulum could be one of the best he's trained...he's 17 hands high too, so the old adage he should make a fine chaser could be relevant.

She may or may not have been on the worst ground but she ran a hundred yards less in the home straight than the winner and thirty yards less than the runner up!
