Surely it must strike someone as a rubbish idea if after all this time so much time is spent defending the idea.

who will win Gb & Ir or ROW more appropriate question is who would care?

How are you supposed to pick out your horse when they change the jockeys silks?

I suspect i may be the fool however as i have backed Lyric Street in the next as have been waiting for it to run but is ridden by a Jockey who probably only saw Ascot for the first time this morning.

:emoticon-0101-sadsm Did I just hear Chantal Sutherland say she is going to push the horse up hill and let him roll down hill?

Emma Wilson on Lyric street was woeful, Ran the horse 3 wide in a 2 mile race for 10 furlongs and when asking him to quicken looked like 7lb claimer. The horse ran on but was a case of getting no help whatsoever from the saddle. It's not her fault she has probably never ridden on a course like Ascot nor have any idea with how UK races run.

Hello chaps - I sense an atmosphere of despair <laugh>

For reasons that I now have no idea of, I backed Anjaz at 14-1 ew last night. Too much fizzy pop I suspect.

It's probably academic but now it's dropped to 7 runners will I still get paid out if she's third?T

    2.40 Ascot

    Misdemeanour 8/1

Really fancy this Richard Hannon filly to run very well. She was the big hard luck story in my eyes along with Willie Wag Tail on her last start at Goodwood when she seemed to be full of running but Pat Dobbs had to sit and suffer in silence on her as a wall of horses was in front of him. She was a very smart 2 year old winning her first two starts and she's a horse that I rate very highly and one who I think will turn out to be much better than her current rating of 87. Her owners tweeted before her run at Royal Ascot that she doesn't really like any cut in the ground so I think her 2 good recent efforts on good to soft ground can be upgraded. I'd be going in very big if Hughes was on board as she seems exactly the sort of filly that he would excel with but although I don't know much about American Aaron Gryder he has plenty of experience. I think she's going to prove very difficult to beat and am quietly confident she'll come out on top.
