Baltz ok now!anyone else notice ruby waving flag at canal turn.many clouds throwing head butts! Looks ****ed, he'll sleep tonight
Good to see a good horse win. Back to back Nationals for Aspell, for a lad gonna retire not long ago he now sits high among racing folklore! Hope they all got back safe but I'd have doubts over one or two. Paul Maloney places on my pick at 50/1, Alvarado. That's the 7th consecutive year Maloney has bagged a place...that's got to be some sort of record too??
Not just a classy horse but what a class act Oliver Sherwood showed himself to be in that interview. Nice to see the nice guys win and come across with modesty and dignity at such a moment. Great The King up ok, hope there's no fatalities.
Great run by Many Clouds, very happy for Oliver Sherwood, Leighton Aspell and connections. Very pleased with Alvarado's run, think he needs 5-miles! All horses and riders OK, that's terrific news!
All horse are fine! That's the best thing to come out of this meeting for me lol wouldn't wipe my backside with some of the form tbh lol
Stick, I see old boy L'Hirondelle is thrown in off its mark in the Lingfield 5.20 here. Reckon they'll punt this in a couple of starts time?!
Not a good day for me gambling, but glad Balthazar King got up ok, a real favourite of mine. Backed him on many of his wins. I feared the worst when he fell, and was then lying motionless on the floor. So was really pleased to hear he was ok
Were you on Saint Are MOG? Brennan appeared to struggle to get his stick through at the business end, is that what your doh was for?
Yeah I was on it, he had such a nice trip round he was taking tugs, starts looking over his shoulders and between his legs god knows how many times and lets the winner steal a few lengths, no idea what he was looking for... think he thought because he had plenty left and the one in front was giving him a stone+ he had it covered. The race was his for the taking in my opinion and he let it slip away trying to be clever.
No better man than Paddy for that, I actually like him as a jockey but when it comes to taking a pull and having about 5 too many peeks between the legs, Paddy is your man. I think if you look at his reaction about 100 yards from the line he kinda realises he made a bit of a balls of the run himself, he has a wry smile and shake of the head.
American Pharoah looks a monster, you can still get 4/1 for the Kentucky Derby with Ladbrokes who must be sleeping just now. Will be closer to 2/1 I think when the other books put betting back up.
