I will leave the horses and just back my beloved football team this season I think!! Love late goals that win bets
Andre Fabre called Intello "exceptional", his only defeat was an unlucky third in the French 2,000 Guineas. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/horse-racing/23647804 If Dawn Approach is back to his best (2,000 Guineas win) then he'll go very close. But I doubt he will be, think the Derby saw to that (beat Toronado decisively at Newmarket but Toronado has since reversed form at Goodwood and arguably should've won at Royal Ascot).
O’Meara tried to pull a fast one in the Haydock 2:20 by putting up a 3lb claimer a quarter of an hour before the race to offset some of the 13lb hike in the handicap. Unfortunately Nolan missed the kick on Chancery and was scrubbing it along after fifty yards so punters had done their money in less than a furlong. Note to Self: Never back any horse trained by David O’Meara that has won a couple of races and looks to be improving – they always lose. As they were loading the stalls for the 5:05, hat-trick seeking Big Thunder was pushed out to 7/2, so I backed it. Last time at Ascot he had made all and beaten Glenard. This time he again had the run of the race but folded with a furlong to go and finished unplaced as Glenard snatched some compensation on the day for the Highclere owners syndicate. So much for the Prescott hot spell – I found one of the cold ones. I guess Channel 4 had to be at Ascot as they are sponsored by Dubai. Thankfully none of my money had to be there. One decent race tomorrow...
