Creekside 2/1

Really shocked that 2/1 is available about this and I'm having a big big bet on John Ferguson's 4 year old who I like a lot. Creekside was a very talented horse on the flat for John Oxx winning off a mark of 100 and was I thought a very impressive winner on debut for Ferguson at Catterick earlier this month despite not being overly fluent jumping. The 2nd that day Uncle Bryn, who is battling for 2nd favouritism tomorrow, was 2L back in 2nd and gets a 6lb swing in the weights but I really cant see him turning the tables as the 2L margin of victory was a bit flattering to that rival. Kie looks is now 126 rated horse and carries 9lb more than Creekside when the excellent Jack Quinlan's claim is taken into account. Furthermore, he was entered into a race on the AW in the past week which he was pulled from so I tend to feel McCain was looking to freshen him up which he hasn't been able to do. Similarly, Chadford is rated 126 and must concede Creekside 9lb and although I rated him as the main danger I would still be surprised if he will be good enough. I really think that Creekside is one of Ferguson's best horses and if improving from his debut over hurdles I'll be very surprised if anything can beat him.

I've also taken some of the 33s available for the Triumph hurdle at Cheltenham
 
Agree with Creekside ROTO and I think Ferguson could have a nice double with Cry Of Freedom making his handicap debut off a mark of 125 in the 3.45. Jack Quinlan takes off 5 and, although he jumped like the proverbial Skoda last time out behind Ile De Re at Huntingdon, he was still in contention off the final bend. Although he was ultimately well beaten by the favourite (whom he was conceding 7lbs) he was well clear of the rest. I would hope they've got some schooling into him since that last run and if he can jump better tomorrow his strong travelling style will see him in the shake up. I've had a bit of 9/1 e/w BOG on him tonight <ok>

Cape Dutch could even complete a treble for Ferguson in the last - looks to have a favourites chance.
 
I'm backing all 3 Ferguson horses as well as Asaid 16/1 at Leopardstown on Sunday with Geraghty up Oddy. Just wanted to get Creekside up before the price went
 
Done them in a Lucky 31 with Bold Sir Brian and Arctic Court so I'll be glued to good old Musselburgh tomorrow. Better than the a/w tosh

I thought Tetlami looked well though mate - quickened up very smartly. Backed him e/w at 16s for the Supreme - if Simonsig goes to the Neptune, McCoy rides Darlan and Captain Conan doesn't run (can't honestly believe they think he can win a Supreme) then I can well imagine Geraghty being on Tetlami and I think he'll go off at half those odds <ok>
 
Just going on the Tuesday Beefy - the other 3 days on t'internet (they don't show it on German TV - philistines <laugh>)
