Spiders. Or ****ing ****s as I like to call them. Hairy, ugly, deformed freaks of ****ing nature and everyone of them deserves to die...

I cannot stand being in their presence, and between me and you (all), before I kill them, I swear to God that I pray for their souls before I smash them with a shoe. No word of a lie.

Now, arachnophobia is my own fear, pretty standard, up there with heights. But does anyone have any weird phobias? Knew a girl who was petrified of balloons.. She had a shock on her Birthday <laugh>

Peace. ****ing slimey evil batards.

Get a grip - and be glad you're not a fly or Jeff Goldblum.
Without spiders there'd be even more flies- as if there aren't enough of the buggers already.

Incidentally, where do you live that you encounter beasts like the above?

Yeah but I don't mind flies, I think there endearing personally!

Well none like the ones above, I formerly lived in a little village called Buckland Monochorum and my bedroom window was one of them old fashioned swing ones, and outside were 10ft bushes and trees, used to get some beasts come through, to a point where I went a whole sweltering Summer without opening my window.

Garden spiders have been out and about since early August, a good sign of an early autumn

Any I found usually got dropped into the fish tank along with any other insect unfortunate enough to get caught.

I take that means its going to get cold soon. Last few days here its started to get wet, cold and windy :( So much for Summer (those two weeks at Wimbledon)
September is supposed to be a reasonable month, drier than August :emoticon-0112-wonde But the leaf fall seems to have started early, and the ant numbers
are declining rapidly suggesting their heading down into their nests for winter. We can still have a decent autumn period though.

I like this time of year when things are on the turn but there is still lots of colour about, I don't mind it getting cooler, it's feckin' rain I detest.

It's definitely an early autumn mate, we've been lighting our fire already, don't normally feel the need until late Sept.

Being a gardener I can't afford to be arachnophobic <cool>

Beautiful creatures, clever too

A friend has a button phobia............no..........seriously............he can't wear clothing with buttons on

A recognised phobia apparently

100% agree

Yeah, feels like Autumn is deffo here although the leaves aren't turning yet. No probs tho, I like it well enough.
