..I'm not aftertiming but myself and my wife were our the sauce today...went into Auntie Annies and it was full of manu fans..every f****r in Belfast supports them for some reason. Left and went to FilthyMcNastys..no TV which my missus prefers...headed up to Lavery's then and saw Manu were 2 down. Said to R that I was gonna back them win since Villa are dung and manu always come strong against weaker teams. Went to the gents and was getting her to get the odds with PP on her phone..no sooner said then a huge roar and the plastics got one back...pissed off and then went to the bookies next door when the pride of Asia was only 12/5 but imo were gonna win... Wrote my slip with a score on them to win when the cashier said,that desptie the advertised oddds she has to write B.I.R. by hand. As my slip was being stamped she informed me the betting was suspended...manu had just scored again. I said not interested but she said since the bet had effectively been placed I.R. she couldn't retract it and scribbled out the 12/5 and hand wrote 5/6. I would have kicked up a stink but there wasn't anything surer than brown stuff sticking to a blanket that the chokers would bag another. They did £160 became less than £19...I would have happily lost my dosh to see them drop points though!..Don't know whether to laugh or cry! F*****g sums up my luck. You follow..
