    Agreed.

Talking of NH- really disappointed if Spirit Son will not race again. Really exciting hurdle prospect.

Yeah that's sad about Spirit Son but for me he was always more of a 2m4f horse and there is a real dearth of top class hurdle races over that distance. Something that needs looking at IMHO

    That was a close one!

4 of them separated by a neck?!

Fame and Glory is not a stayer is he FFS. Feel for the horse because he is so much better than his form figures will ever suggest.

He'd have cruised home over a mile and a half there. Wonder if he has much more racing left in him after this season? Still, he'll be a punters price again at Ascot in October, much like last year!

As if Royal Diamond has just won a Irish St Leger I really do give up. A horse that went backwards once he joined Jonjo. Fell once and well beaten in two novice hurdles. Laughable really. Great training performance mind.

Absolutely delighted for Johnny Murtagh,Tommy Carmody and Andrew Tinkler and all connected with their project. What a success they have been this year.

I'm sure the fact that the Aga Khan's horse was second will make the victory that bit sweeter.

I'd really like NEVIS in the last but for Dawn Approach. Nevis has a LOT of scope IMO and is going to be a nice horse for Ballydoyle.

I just wonder if Dawn Approach might hit the front that bit too early on his first try at 7f. He's obviously heading straight towards a mile and ought to improve up in trip but I also thought Nevis looked to relish a mile last time and had a good turn of foot to boot. Something about Nevis that struck me as classy- bit more about him than Christoforo Columbo as a specimen, though CC will develop into a lovely 3 Y O early next year I think. <ok>

Hoping for a NEVIS win here. Don't really rate this Dawn Approach. Would have loved CC to get revenge tonight but NR

Joe I will bet you anything you want that he will not be a top 3yo <ok> I said he should win even with CC in and I wouldn't touch race. He is a good juvenile but come next May he will be nowhere near the top colts. Save this message and if I am wrong I will happily be the idiot everyone can laugh at ;)

If they keep him away from the Arabs I see no reason why he won't make a cracking 3-y-o.

Dosn't really matter actually..whoever beats him will be bought by Sheikh Mo or one of his massive litter by proxy.

I wont save but I will remember ;)

Nothing in the slightest to suggest he wont be even better next year, your still seething about New Approach winning the Derby and your taking it out on his kids.
