There will also be indirect fatalities due to people missing treatment because it took a lower priority to the virus. Add in those that are going to be hit financially, and I think it's impossible to add up the numbers suffering. In brighter news, the talk of a 'cure' seems to be gaining weight. I guess it's a case of wait and see. In the meantime, I think we all need to consider our actions, in case we pass on any bugs (not just the virus) to vulnerable people who may not be able to receive the treatment they need.
