I understand people’s frustrations about a hike in prices during school time, I’ll have to pay those prices forever, but it sort of comes with having lots of time at home. I’d rather pay a bit more and have the holidays. It’s not that I don’t sympathise, because I really do, we teach in quite a poor part of Hull so I know that people have to make their money go further.

You’re probably right to be fair, upon reflection the mental health side of it is increasingly important in these times, I’ve had 7 year olds come to me for relationship advice this year; my advice was to knock that on the head and enjoy being a kid. Unless he’s going to buy her a new car take her to Maui, not sure he should be worrying about them arguing.

It seems a little unfair to print this man's name, information and picture. There's a huge amount of business travel between China and London and a large international community, so there can be no definitive proof that he was the first carrier in the UK. The tone of the piece in the article seems somewhat condemning him for going skiing and for a drink in a busy bar... Hardly his fault and now he'll be labelled for life.

The media would never print pictures and personal information of accidental HIV carriers and the public media line was always that they could maintain anonymity in the face of a much more fatal and costly illness.

I actually read it first on the Daily Mail website and it was far more accusatory than on the more scientific, mature link you posted. Its a totally valid discussion point now out in public, just thought the media would have been perhaps more protective of him and his family at a difficult time for the UK. There's a lot of idiots out there. There would be a wave of outrage from the usual 'left' public talking heads about naming and shaming had the man been a Chinese immigrant, for example.

As an aside, the chap must be feeling awful.. He came back from skiing with a flu and now has been named as bringing back a viral disease that will kill thousands. Reminds me of the wench that gave me and three quarters of my battalion a dose over a period of 6 months back in the late 80s.

Assuming you're talking about Wren staying open, I agree it's shabby, but one of the Healey Brothers has absolutely nothing to do with Wren and even the one that does, isn't directly involved in the day to day running.
