Two teams on the crest of a slump.

With a daunting looking visit to Wigan coming up next, we need 3 points today.

I can’t see Duchatelet investing in January if we drop out of the Top 6 <laugh>

JFC’s injury is thought to be “worse than though” and may be out for the season. How can he go from back in a few weeks, to out for 6 months. Genuinely couldn’t make this stuff up.

After taking 2 points from a possible 15 since late November, what should have been a routine game and an expected 3 points becomes a match we must win.

I know anything can happen in football, but in truth anything other than a drubbing away at Wigan will be little short of a miracle.
If Charlton don't win today, the play-offs could be a fading hope by the time our team bus leaves the DW on Friday.

Will Duchatelet be willing to invest any money in the team if Charlton are 8th or 9th in the table and without a win in 7 matches when midnight approaches on New Year's Eve?

January is traditionally when we sell our best players, why would Roland buck the trend? Any players we bring in will be cheap rejects, probably with injury problems. I can't see us getting anything from today's match.
2-0 Sarfend.

BB has already blamed the ref.

Southend 2-0 Charlton ... 11 minutes

A simple free-kick move according to the Sky commentator.

Back in August/September when conditions were ideal, his plan A was working well.
But we all said there was no provision for when things would inevitably begin to go wrong.

Fingers crossed that we are only weeks away from having a new owner.
Maybe KR already knows his days are numbered for that very reason.
