----------------Krul
Simpson - Taylor - Colocinni - Santon
---------Tiote----------------
Ben Arfa------ Cabaye--- Marveaux
-----------Best - Ba

I'd like to see the team line up like this.

Can I say I thought you deserved the win yesterday, and you have had a very good start to the season.

With these two players coming in you could easily be in with a chance of getting European football next year. I think 6th place may be up for grabs and my money is on a three way battle between yourselves, Stoke and Arsenal.

You seem to have a good squad of players at the moment, occasionally Pardew makes the odd strange decision, like taking Best off yesterday when I thought you could of gone on to win the game. The only player I'm not convinced is good enough for Newcastle is Obertan. Cayabe looks class and with the 2 mentioned in the OP returning you should be very excited about this season.

Thanks, and best of luck for the rest of the season.

Thanks for the kind words, I think we'll do well till January when you come in and buy Coloccini, Cabaye and Ben Arfa <ok>

Krul
Simpson Taylor Colo Raylor/Santon*
Tiote Cabaye**
Jonas Ben Arfa Marveaux
Best

*Undecided.. still have no real idea of Santon's defensive qualities
**But coming forwards a lot, when we have the ball he's almost playing next to Hatem

Thanks mate <ok>

Seems to be more and more people coming around to the idea that we might actually do reasonably well this season. Before any of our squad even kicked a ball so many had us down to either struggle or be relegated, and I never knew why.

High praise indeed! I think Arsenal are just gonna scrape top 6 and we'll finish 10th behind Everton Stoke and QPR.

Although if injuries hit us (like they always do) we will struggle. Very little cover defensively and **** cover up top.

No way are QPR going to finish that high. Don't get caught up in the hype.

Yes they've bought some good players, but they've merely added a few quality players to their original Championship side.

I'd say the changes they've made has brought them from the levels of relegation candidates to the levels of finishing in the league quite comfortably. I'd be very very surprised if they went that high though.

Marveaux in for Obertan. Everything I've seen so far indicates that Obertan is the weak link in that midfield. Marveaux offers so much more.

The only reason that I picked Obertan is that I've seen more of him, if Marveaux does in 90 mins what he does in short bursts, he should definitely go in <ok>

Right now they still have the buzz from the new owners, wait till they hit a bad patch of form and that will determine how well they do this season.

Why not give this a go...
Krul
Simo-Saylor-Colo-Santon
Raylor-Cabs-Tiote-Jonas
HBA
Best

Have Raylor in the role Joey used to play and we don't lose his free kick threat (although I would like cabs to take a few of them). If things aren't working and we need more pace on the right bring Obertan on for Raylor, if we need the extra striker put Ba on for HBA and Marv can replace either HBA or Jonas in a like for like sub.

Santon AND Ben Arfa coming back in the next few weeks? I just cried a little. Good times for NUFC!

Excellent news.

rather he stayed out for the month and got rid of the problem completely than risking messing his knee for the rest of his career.

This. Same goes for Marveaux.
