I think the majority of us would agree that if we had a healthy Santi playing at his peak with the likes of Mesut, Alexis and Lacazette ahead of him we'd be fooking dynamite. Turns out the reason he's been out for so long is nasty as f*ck.

This is essentially gangrene right? I was apprehensive about him returning to the first team but I'd be stunned if we see him again after this. Gutted for the wee maestro, and for us as we are so unbalanced without him and, as we've seen, replacing a player of his ability is nigh on impossible.
