Better be careful there SJW, Real's next tap up target could be Wilshere,if and when he get's his pre-injury form back.
Wilshere seems to be the most loyal player at Arsenal. He genuinely loves the club. I could see him spending his whole career here. Bale, however, seems to want to ditch Spurs if they don't get Champions League football next season. I'm surprised he stayed last season after these comments: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/apr/28/gareth-bale-tottenham-champions-league He must have taken a bit of convincing to play in the Europa League with the other "not quite good enough" teams.
Bale is Massively overated. It's funny how Walcott is constantly berrated while Bale is praised but if you compare the two widemens careers in professional football so far... Gareth Bale: 214 apps 36 Goals 21 assists Theo Walcott: 229 apps 46 Goals 38 assists Walcott comes out on top (Both are roughly the same age.) I keep hearing that Bale is one of the 'best wide players in World Football' - which is a complete bull****. If you compare him to the Worlds 'elite' its clear he would be a failure at a TOP club like Madrid or Barca. (The Top two..) Lionel Messi: 340 apps 265 Goals Christiano Ronaldo: 478 apps 283 Goals Then there's ... Arjen Robben: 365 apps 120 Goals Juan Mata : 274 apps 72 Goals (82 assists!) Pedro: 235 apps 77 Goals (18 assists) Lucas Podolski: 301 apps 116 Goals (he has played out-wide more than upfront) Frank Ribery 418 apps 105 Goals (141 assist!!) When you compare him to these guys it becomes pretty clear that Gareth Bale is nowhere near 'World Class'
That argument may have held some weight 3-4 years ago. Regardless. I dont think Walcott is 'World Class' either. He is however of a simular quality to Bale. (One player gets MASSIVE praise from the British Press while the other gets accused of 'Not having a Footballing Brain') Check out this recent article from the Standard.. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...clude-gareth-bale-in-any-world-xi-8214947.htm The British Media are a ****ing joke. Like I already said when you do compare Bale to the World's Elite it becomes clear he's actually not at that level.
