I'd certainly cheer him (not to say he's what we need now). I'll never forget his winner against Man U, and for that matter his tying goal against Man U. He was only guilty of lacking the talent and flair a Spurs player should have. I wish he could teach our forwards how to head for the net when there are goals to be had. As it was, he finished with the second most points per minute of any of our players last year.

Dempsey was our replacement for Pavlyuchenko - useless pretty much anywhere else on the pitch, but he could bang them in.
