Not sure about the site reliability but not good news if true.

Apparently it's injury day for Tottenham Hotspur. Brazilian midfielder Sandro was injured during training a week ago while with the national team at Copa America. Today it was revealed that he suffered knee and calf injuries and could face up to 4 weeks on the sidelines.

Sandro has now pulled out of the Copa America and will return to London to be treated by the Club's doctors for a ruptured meniscus in his left knee. Sandro had yet to play for Brazil in the Copa America, but was viewed by manager Mano Menezes as a key-part of the effort to rebuild the Brazilian squad ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The injury to Sandro and the alleged impending departures of both Luka Modric and Wilson Palacios leaves Tottenham Hotspur looking, suddenly, very thin in the midfield. This position was supposed to be one of the strengths of the club, but now we're seeing why having cover at all positions is so important. At this point, the starting central midfield pairing for the Club's Premier League opening game against Everton may very well be Tom Huddlestone and Jermaine Jenas.

As I said, Sandro is only going to be out for four weeks, so it's doubtful he'll miss much of the upcoming campaign. By the end of August he should be fully fit and ready to take part in games.
