Think Wright looks best in a 3 or with pace next to him. A cheaper o'shea if you will. Certainly similar with regards distribution.
This obsession with Sanderson is getting a bit weird If I’m honest. He’s a good player at league one level, but some are making out like he’s the next Sergio Ramos. Easily replaced.
No evidence of either tbh. You've said he's not coming, why keep coming back to the thread if that's the case? It's just football fans, on a football chat forum, chatting about football ... ... nothing weird about that at all.
I get the impression that you think that the players apart from Maguire are crap. You don't reckon that LJ can get the team promoted, before games you reckoned the best result we could get was a draw so I would really like to know why you claim to be a Sunderland fan when you are so negative every time you post on here
I wouldn't have said we are obsessed, we just realise that had he stopped fit we would probably have been promoted. Yet this is the same bloke who is over weight , too old and only plays one decent game out of 5 would have saved the day
You are one strange safc fan, are you trying to keep us all on the straight and narrow? Or just a WUM or saddo?
Part of the joy of being a supporter is getting overly excited ... ... that's the reason 4th division fans hold up home made tin foil FA Cups. Of course it's all daft, life doesn't have to be so bloody serious.
I dont think Bailey Wright was 100% fit when he came back in at the end of the season. Definitely our best defender but as we've come to know the league is relentless, the young uns will get plenty of games regardless of whether we sign Sanderson....or not imo.
If our injury record for this season is anything to go by, we'll probably need a 7th CB. Willis won't be back for a while too.
Gerrin, need to do our business early, not 11.45pm transfer deadline day - or whenever - when that fat chancer had control
I’d give him until the end of the week with a take or leave it offer. Same goes for the current players delaying these contract talks. If they haven’t made a decision by the end of the week, I’d start planning life without them.
https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...d-battling-sign-dion-sanderson-wolves-summer/ At least three Championship clubs understood to have held preliminary discussions with either Wolves officials or the defender’s representatives. Sheffield United are known to be long-term admirers, Huddersfield Town, Stoke City and Birmingham City have also been linked with Sanderson.
