Probably. Rafman is a worm lol. Only came on here when we were doing poor under Howe, wanted to come on and wave his chode around about how amazing his Rafa was. Then we started doing well and Rafa was sacked, he's never been seen again. Never did quite know if he was a Mackem sock.
That was kinda my point, but questions will never be asked about them. It doesn't change the fact there are a lot of issues related to being owned by PIF, regardless of whether separation is shown or not. We will keep being asked about them - as fans and as a club.
@Billions and Billions Longstaff had a reasonable game today. Maybe playing under Bruce really was the problem with him!
From ex head of the Ref’s Club and ex referee Keith Hackett: “This is a red card for deliberate use of the elbow, Havertz should have been sent off and I am not surprised by the response by Burn after he had been treated. “David Coote is having a bit of a mare. Havertz should have received a red card for his high elbow into the face of Newcastle’s Burn. “It could not be clearer. A first year referee would give that. The guy who scored [with a minute to go] should have been sent off. “Chelsea’s number 14 [Chalobah] holds the shirt of his opponent then pushes him over with left arm. Penalty kick to Newcastle not awarded. “We need Nigel Owens [former Rugby Union referee] on this holding offence don’t we. It is so obvious a penalty kick. If I was Eddie Howe I would be asking Mike Riley to explain. “What an appalling decision – this was holding that prevented forward movement. The push brought him down to the ground. Eddie Howe you have been let down by these two incompetent officials. “They [referees and VAR officials] are managed by Mike Riley, he needs to be asked this question. It’s a nailed on penalty kick. “He [VAR official Jon Brooks] needs to go to Specsavers. That is a penalty kick. “Both [Coote and Brooks] need to be sanctioned, Referee and VAR.”
I think we can throw away a lot of our preconceptions about players. If Eddie thinks he sees something and can get them to a high enough standard for us then we have to trust him.
Just had a big argument with a guy at work over the penalty fiasco. He is adamant it would have not been given as the fowl began outside the box and continued inside.
If the Saudis take over Chelsea and aren’t state owned at all… then effectively Chelsea become our feeder club?
I believe a single entity can't own two clubs in one league. In fact, I'm surprised that a single entity can own two clubs in Europe. What would ever happen if RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg were in a major European final against one another.
I’ve created a new thread but it’s not pif. It’s the Saudi media group which is a separate legal entity and private as well
