When we've got Nunez, Howson, Snodgrass, Gradel, Sam and White (and probably had Mendy on trial at the time too), you can see why we didn't go for him.

    My view on watt

Good ability but thick and not a very good footballer.

    He's been a waste of a wage.

He's a puff, come novemeber doesnt like the cold or wet.

For size he's a pussy too.

I do rate him but lets be fair, there no reason too

No, I can see why we didnt go for him as he wasnt worth the money. I`m assuming SG doesnt just get bored on a morning and enquire about someone for the sake of it, I`m sure he know who his currecnt personnel were.

Winger/AM, decent player, good feet but is a bit erratic and found his opportunities limited with us. Should do a good job <ok>.

i actually like sanchez watt, i dont think we should get him but for a team looking for a winger or an attacking midfielder i think he'd do alright. He had an act of putting in some crunching tackles and then getting shoved off the ball easily, has good quick feet though. He is definitely not a forward and will not be able to replace long.

He didn't get much games last season due to injury and our amazing two wingers, Max Gradel and Robert Snodgrass, both full internationals might I mention.
When he did play he was an impact sub. He can play both, but apparently he prefers wing. Fast, skillfull, decent finishing although only scored once in about 1 and a quarter seasons with us. He was impressive in league one because we had an opening for 1 winger in the squad but since Gradel moved from striker into winger, both our wings have been occupied by our two best players. I'd say currently mid table or lower championship player, with great potential so he could become a championship promotion or eventually premier league player, 250k is a bargain considering his age and potential but would he be good enough to play for Reading right now, in my view probably not, but could be a good signing for the future and great backup if one of your wingers gets suspended or injured.

I think given a fair run in any team he could prove himself at this level. It could even be a case of what clayton did for us. Being bought by a lower league club, then being loaned to an even lower league club to gain confidence and coming back a much better player
