I didn't see any player reaction but I did see McNally taking abuse outside the City stand at the end of the match, I think that is the reason for his tweet. I'm pretty sure that he knows that his neck is on the line as much as the manager's and he won't piss about like he did a la Hughton <ok>

I was affronted by that, and I'm ME. If this is where we are in discussion, then it;s not for me.

Nobody is taking accountability gandy and that's highly irritating, especially when the captain is constantly shouting the odds in the press, someone needs to take responsibility and do the speaking on the pitch, rather then the conveyor belt of excuses which have been coming out of Carrow Road for months.

Just pointing out that the natives are restless. Football is a results business and whether you agree with certain fans venting their anger like that or not, what it does mean is that Adams' and Mcally's futures are on the line. I would go as far as to say that IF we lose to Wigan next week (and in all probability we will considering our current form) and then follow that up with a poor performance the manager will be sacked.
It's a complete and utter mess at NCFC if you ask me from top to bottom and I really don't know where we go from here. What makes it even more galling is, as with our relegation last term, it is so unnecessary. The board have made mistake after mistake and appointing Adams full time in the first place was incredulous and beggared belief at the time as it still does now. I like Neil Adams, always have done and I feel for him, but I'm sorry IMO he should not remain in charge and bringing in Mike Phelan has probably made the board's position even more problematic.
Going forward I see poor Neil being shown the door, Phelan will then be given the job on a 'caretaker' basis and this is another decision that I won't agree with. We need to bring in an experienced manager NOW before we get dragged into a fight out at the bottom, promotion it seems is just a pipe dream.

I was born and lived in Norwich all my life, so guess that makes me a native lol

I wasn't happy with the Adams appointment at the start of the season and I even said I think we'd now finish mid table, but was willing to give him time. But his inexperience is showing and I think if he loves the club as much as he says he does then he should do the right thing and step down. Nothing wrong with expressing your feelings, but I wish they wouldn't act like a pack of wild animals like they did in that video.

Football is the most passionate of games Drunky as you well know, TBH City fans are not the most volatile even in adversity.

As KIO says, the Mike Phelan thing has made the situation more problematic. Sack Adam's now and you replace him with another who's never done the job before.

This bad decision is going to cost us big time. The board should have gotten rid of Adams withthe coach.

Personally, I am sick and tired of people pretending this is all going to work out fine.

It's not. We'll be in the bottom 7 by the end of the season if either are in charge at the end.

Quite frankly, the board have a pathetic grasp of things and are losing it.

Yeah I know football is a passionate game, I've just never been one to lose all common sense or over react to just a game. as cliche as it sounds, there's more important things in the world to get angry or worry about.

For me I want Adam to go now and yes I am feeling disappointed but I'm not going to shout abuse at someone like an idiot.

You little tinker Warky, bugger off ! ;)

I was actually being serious!

If Hull continue in free fall I can't see Bruce staying there and surely he would jump at the chance of teaming up with his old mucker at Norwich! A sentimental journey if you like and it would be really quite poetic!

But it was on a thread that you started, designed to get guests to sign up and join in!

That went well! <laugh>

Yes it did didn't it! <laugh>

I just don't get some people. Here we are 2nd in the league and yet there are some people still having a go at McCarthy! He is a bloody miracle worker given all the problems he inherited. The best manager in the league and yet people still moan! <doh>

It's because he's a donkey. I would never want him at my club.

Cuellar Hooiveld(or Turner if not fit) Miquel Garrido
And a midfield that incorporates O'Neil as captain, probably with Redmond/Murphy on the flanks.

I may be accused of throwing the baby out with the bath water but I think a lot of our problems are down to character and mentality. Last season left them bereft of confidence and some of them look like their heart just isn't in it. Players coming in start brightly but get dragged down. Id like to see us build a team around the new guys who can remember how to play without fear, and who have chosen to come here for a reason. Let the others earn their way back into the team. Anyone who says Martin has to be captain because he has played 200 games and been club captain needs to examine whether those facts really count in his favour after two dismal seasons for the club.

'Two dismal seasons'? Last season and which other? The one where we finished 11th in the Premier League? You can't count this one because it's only half-finished. At the end of the day somebody has to be captain and I think Russ is the right man to be captain, he just seems to be a scapegoat right now.

He's a great servant to the club, as passionate as any fan. But a leader? Absolutely not. We haven't got any.

Not that I agree Martin has been dismal, but your being pedantic.

Why should Martin be captain? There is no evidence as we have had no success with him.

Personally, I don't really care who is captain, the position really shouldn't mean anything unless they are a key member of the management team which I very much doubt is the case.
