"Howson was awful, as usual in that position. Invites a run from the opposition midfielder and just does synchronized running alongside them until they find a pass or have a shot."

Which is what Kissa bawled him out for.

Those two goals need reshowing to the dressing room a few times until people get the idea of how to mark. I think that the defence hoof it up because they don't have any faith in their own abilities or their team-mates. Too scared too play it out and worried that if they foul up then the back 4 won't be able to rescue things.

Howson needs a spell in the reserves perchance?

Hopefully we will get a clean sheet in the next game against Bristol City. If not the centre backs need a good bollocking and find out who the leader of that defence is. Would be ashamed if a loan player came in and sorted out the defence. They should be able to sort it out by now amongst the defenders we've got.

Did we have no one else available to play in his place?

Not really, Clayton was injured, Zac Thompson is not quite ready to step up.
Nunez could have been used in the middle or Snodgrass but Howson got the nod as his all round game is better.

He was vommiting on the pitch but played on, this is Howson's committment to Leeds.

I wonder sometimes if the people posting comments about Howson realise what playing for Leeds United means to him?
We could lose him next season yet people on here want to put him in the reserves, what a joke....

i think he is in the top best 3 or 4 players we have but people seem to dislike him. I can understand people saying he is inconsistent to an extent but i dont think anyone is denying his commitment and passion towards leeds.

And apparantly we had a unnamed prem club come to us and inquire about howson but we said no before it went any further

Ah West Brom.....we can't lose our captain and best central mid to ****ty west brom and their 2 fans. What does Leeds mean to Howson? he was vomiting on the pitch and played on, I doubt you lot have worked a day in your life when you were vomiting at work.
