Arguably one of the worst players to ever wear the hoops. Especially when his transfer fee and wages are taken into consideration. Rangers have had a result here. See ya Samba. Don't forget to take your two left feet with you.

priesterz (Southampton): R's have just played their "get out of jail free" card. His agent must be pissing himself. :)

Great bit of business from TF & Co if true, not that Samba's arrival made any difference to our results/performances.
Like many on here, I was excited by the prospect of Samba's immensity but as has been the case recently, I was disappointed and frustrated at the "dud" that we had purchased. Re-coup our monies and move on.

Not really. If we achieve promotion again it proves we have a good team with the right spirit. And the lessons must have been learned by now/then.

Nail on the head! The biggest QPR-disappointment ever.

Well this is fine as long as we get in a decent replacement CB. Anton isn't good enough and we cannot rely on Clint and Ned staying fit and not suspended all season. Is the young CB, Magri?, we bought last season still with us?

Unless Brentford sign Messi on a free then this could be the best transfer of the season!

Can't believe you got £12M back for him, this could be a defining moment for the up & coming season.

Just delighted we recouped the money we spent.

    Well done Harry.

Those Russians need to go to Specsavers.

Would still give Richard Dunne a 12 month pay as you play contract provided we got rid of Anton first.

Dunne and Onouha would be a formidable CB pairing

Samba was a dreadful signing by Harold ... I would sack the pair of them they are both failures IMO

I bet the original deal was for £8m to include Samba and Bosingwa and they were happy to pay extra if we kept Bosingwa. Anyway, as far as I am concerned, one hopeless cart-horse, pretty much returned unopened, for a full refund, is a fabulous bit of business.

We also have the sometimes talented, sometimes lunatic in the form of Mbia who can play CB. Might have to have extra training sessions on how to defend freekicks if he gets the green light to slot in there.
