No Dai, your the voice of bull **** neither you or I have any clue what transfers have been paid or wages offered. Pure red top speculation!
Buy out way out? Hmmm.... - Cisse, Ferdinand, Nelsen, Faurlan, Dyer and probably DJ out.....Remy, Ben Haim (free) and Samba in - Hardly constitutes buying our way out now does it? No one here knows what the wages of any of them are so its all guess work. Lets just hope we get out.
They don't, and it's the fans of clubs who don't have the funds to sign anyone that come out with this bs.
TF can't simply get his credit card out, it must be done through the club - he may be pumping millions into the QPR accounts, but it's all got to be paid for eventually. What i'm saying is that unless he stays long-term, ie 15 or 20 years, then QPR will be looking at huge debts. TF isn't simply writing this money off, it's going onto the QPR books - if a few of you want to fantasise about getting all these players/wages for free, then you need to wake up!
@ Bspoke Sorry mate but what has to be paid eventually? He can pump as much as he likes in and write off what he likes. No difference to me pumping money into something and not excpecting it back. You only have to pay back something if you BORROW it. He's not borrowing so nothing to pay back. Still don't see what your going on about. His money is his to do what he likes with. That may change when the finance rules change but as it stand at the moment, there is no validity in what your suggesting. He can get his credit card out at anytime and pay it into the clubs account. As long as it's declared and not done on the sly, no rules are broken. That's what Abramovic and Mansoor do. I don't like it myself but that's the rules as it stands for now.
rrrrrs. This guy doesn't understand that TF has that kind money kicking about and can do what he likes with it. He's just got a bee in his fake scots bonnet for some reason. Also doesn't want to listen, horses to water and all of that. Think he's still bitter about Remy and why someone might just not want to go to Newcastle. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. Someone needs to take his dark glasses off for him that's all.
Newcastle have just gone out and bought half of France and we can't buy 2 quality players? Agree i think they are just bitter over Remy and if they want to talk football lets talk about how 'two faced' they were to Mike Ashley calling him a 'cockney ####' ? they never want to talk about that or the 8k gates they got?
I don't understand why do you bother do answer the posters who are here just to WUM. Samba is very reasonable signing and 12 mil pounds for him is a bargain. Modrić went for 35 mils ffs and Torres for 50
Ah, so you're TF's accountant and he's happy for you to share info on how real/stable/sustainable his fortune is.
The guy owns an airline, You need nearly a mil, if not more, a day just on fuel for those big planes. When it comes to petty cash he need loads just for cash flow reasons alone. This, i do know from working in the transport industry myself. I think it's a safe guess that he has enough hanging about. Add the mittals to the equation, and excuse the pun but, the sky's the limit. So no, I don't KNOW, but it's a highly educated guess. Hope that is a reasonable answer for you.
You would get promoted straight back with the players you have now, but will they stay?, they should if they are on massive wages.
This is true. And yes we can always sell on if we go down. In theory at least. However, if we can, we will not command anywhere near the prices we paid for them. We have already seen this window and last that getting rid of players for hard cash is proving to be very difficult particularly if they have long contracts on salary terms which they are never going to be able to replicate elsewhere. The problem faced by those clubs when they went down is that their so called star players were not prepared to move on at cost to themselves. Given all the noises from the club about open communication, it would be nice if they were open about the finances. They may not be able for reasons of confidentiality to disclose the precise terms of each deal but ball park figures would help to allay our concerns.
I'd love to believe this. But who has confirmed this Flyer? Trying to get facts out of Harold is like trying to build a sand castle when the tide has rolled in.
Agree that moving players on permanently is getting tricky, as England is the only thriving market because of Sky (though the Germans are catching up but clearly won't go as mad as us). Amazed that we didn't see more players from the Spanish leagues moving here this window, their clubs are totally skint and the banks won't lend to them (or anyone else). It would be nice if we could know all the details of transfers and the club finances, but we are hardly alone in not sharing these.
