Agreed on Bellers but could be difficult if he keeps performing as he has done in the Olympics, especially as QPR have declared their interest. As for Bothroyd, I think his time came and went when he got his England cap. Mind you I can't see him getting much game time at QPR - didn't get much last year and they have signed more forwards since. With the pay rise he got when going to QPR, I couldn't see us affording him unless he took a pay drop - unlikely knowing Jay. If we were to go for any QPR player then Malky should try again for Jamie Mackie. This would work if they were to sign Bellers.
I've been waiting for us to sign mackie for a while. He's a malky player. Especially considering kim will take a while to adapt.
He was pretty solid for us, very strong and is happy to stick his head in where it hurts. He works hard and can hold up the ball. Not sure he's good enough to start for you but that would depend on what type of player you are looking for. He's got a hint if Grant Holt about him, not the same level but a lot of similar attributes. Get him really fit and I'm sure he'd do well.
Vokes has signed for Burnley for an undisclosed fee. Back with Eddie Howe who introuced him at Bournemouth.
Anyway, I would settle for Bellers or if QPR get him then Jamie Mackie. Nothing more will happen on that until either the end of the Olympics or if Team GB get knocked out - hopefully not tonight!!!
