Chelsea Ladies have signed Sam Kerr. If you don't know who she is, lets just say if she was a man she's be the most sought after player on earth. The womens world cup showed that their brand of football is heading upwards at a rapid rate and in World football, no one scores more than Sam Kerr. She's an indigenous player from Western Australia, has headed the goalscoring in the USA for the last 3 years, averages virtually a goal a game for team and country and has everything, speed, smarts, toughness and technical ability. Keep an eye on her at Chelsea, she's well worth watching. Her biggest fan is Christiano Ronaldo, who knows a bit about quality players.

Sorry mate, but can't say I'm too interested tbh.

Womens football is like watching 11 year old kids. They have plenty of enthusiasm but that's about it. Giving professional contracts to someone who cannot control a pass 4 times out of 5 is frankly obscene and yes it happens, not only this but cheating and diving is starting to creep into the women's game the reason for this is MONEY. Also it is becoming popular is because it is cheap....yep check out the prices for a ticket when the record crowd for a women's game was played at Wembley, and 35% of the attendance was for free go figure, its marketing at its finest but for the footballing purist totally un-watchable that is not to say its not entertaining but so is 11 year old football.

Girls definitely have more than just enthusiasm when it comes to football and sport in general. I work in a school which has several good female footballers who more than hold their own against the boys.

I hope we keep bringing the best players over here to keep increasing the profile of the woman’s game, football definitely isn’t just for men.

Nobody said it was just for men but don't sell mutton as lamb.

I have tried watching womens football and it is just painful!
Such a lack of skill, and like Abu said, watching them attempt through balls and cross field passes just leads me to face palm.
I can't do it, its like watching my local primary school team play.

Sure they will be more skillful than probably the average sunday league footballer but i wouldnt pay to watch them either. I find it very hard to watch womens football purely because it seems so slow.

If i cant force myself to watch the womens womens world cup when there was zero footie then i know theres no chance i will be able to get into. Happy for them to try and give it a go though as im sure it will appeal to some (specially those who hate how tv and money has taken over the game)

I take my 2 granddaughters to their matches and Internationals as well, so I am a captive audience anyway. The improvement at International level is impressive, and recently watched a 45,000 sell out crowd when Australia beat Chile with Sam Kerr scoring 2 goals Tammy would be pleased to score .It's light years behind the mens game, but I still enjoy watching. Then again I enjoy Rugby, Rugby League, Athletics, Sailing, Darts, Cricket........

I'd try and get a job as a tiddlywinks player if I was you, because I guess everyone at CFC is an idiot because they pay Sam Kerr heaps more than you can dream about. Who is the better judge of footballers, you or CFC ??????
Don't need to get a job mate, got my own business. CFC can pay her what they want, no skin off my nose. I just don't rate women's football. Nothing against them playing it, but I don't watch it. I don't watch American football because I think it's ****. It's about choices, so don't preach to me.
