yes read about sam's refusal to tan, what baffles me is what my mate is saying and he WAS a season ticket holder but no more due to the malaysians pledge what he can only call bullshit. he said that cardiff sold his club down the river on the promise that if they are allowed to change cardiff's brand to play in red with a dragon logo that they will instantly put £100 million into the club and clear all debts and now they have got their way they are not putting a £100 million into the club now they are paying some debts off and giving malky few million for players and trying to work out a deal with sam the man...I dont get it why have they not honoured their side of the bargain and paid everyone off like they say they would. they have got their way that has cost cardiff a great deal and lost many fans in the process that wont ever come back to a team they no longer recognize.....What are these malaysians up to as they are not doing what they promised....this is not a wum by the way this is what is said in the papers and by fans who wont buy into this rebranding unnecessary rubbish...And to rub salt into the wounds the malaysians have not paid anywhere near £100 million like they said and now want people they owe to take installments....nothing makes sense...
Hand on heart, how many can honestly say they weren't spellbound by Sam during his early reign? He did give us hope and a sense of belief when there was none. Is giving Sam an honorary position such a big thing? He will never be allowed near our clubs finances and our debt will be erased. Personally I think it would be a small price to pay to allow this club to move forward. Sam for all his failings and mismanagement made people sit up and take notice. Let's get the monkey off our back and finally realise the dream he sold us. i cant believe i just read that dude>>>>>>sam took us on a ride alright>>>>he took fans who were on theyre knees and pretended 2 be a good honest man but he picked us up and dropped us when his financial problems become clear>>>>>>so all he did was cash in off us and left us in a load of the brown stuff>>>>>>hence the fact we are now being told what 2do rather than asked. im getting 2 the point where im considering putting football into the history section and leaving it all in the past for the benefit of my sanity........the soul has gone and its showing with the standard of players on the pitch(prem level).....all making fortunes but wouldnt lace the fella`s that came before them`s boots>>>>2many ego`s 2 much money and not a lot of quality 2 back it up. like i say though its no fans fault of any club>>>>>>the money thats being ripped out of our sport is the main reason i say football as we knew it is totally dead and has been since sky had the major say
Smokescreens and mirrors Dai. I really believe we're getting half the story. With regard to Sam and the Langstone debt it is quite simple, the Malaysians think the deal stinks and want to pay a reasonable amount to Langstone. After all Sam is Langstone. So he'd have loaned himself on favourable terms to himself i.e. a nice little interest rate. How strong the loan contract is remains to be seen. I really think Sam and the riddler were stitching each other up and the club was in the middle. The Malaysians have promised so much but all that was ever mentioned initially was "Malayians to invest £100 million, will include state of the art training facilities, extending the stadium, buying players and clearing debt." No time scale were ever mentioned until fairly recently. It transpires we have probably already have received circa £40 million by way of running costs and clearing other debts. The training facilities project is already in planning stage and the stadium extension will be given the go ahead as and when we are in the premier league. As with any business nothing happens over night and you don't extend yourself when it's not needed. With this all going on and hopefully success on the pitch this coming season we may see more investors wanting to get involved, hopefully some more local than the far east.
Talk is Sam don't want £8m plus the presidency. He wants the full £10m straight away and he will walk from Cardiff City. Just pay him I say. But easy to say because it's not my money.
agree aber and also with DJ. give him the money and dont let him near our club again. he doesnt care about our club otherwise he wouldnt have made such a pigs ear of running our club or blackmailing us to get more money out us before he got out of the club.....so whats even the point of offering presidency?
if that came from a supporter of a regular prem team dude i`d agree but for someone who`s team has only ever been in the top division three times in its history>>>>i`d say dont burn your bridges cos u be back where you belong soon enough>>>>>>>a true saying class is permanent form is temporary
Dude! Don't worry m8,I know exactly where you're coming from. The rot set in for me when we left Nin, but to survive we have to find compromises even with those who currently hold us to ransom. As for Sam not wanting a prestigious title, I can't see him just walking away, ever. He is a part of our history for better or worse and it's all brinkmanship between him and the club as far as I'm concerned. This will be settled soon and the sun will appear from behind the dark clouds again. Like someone pointed out earlier, let's see if he makes an appearance and what the response will be.
good man ITIWRAN i`ll be waiting for sam with my little pick and shovel........any particular hole you want him in .....or should we put him in the away end with the leeds fans when they visit
.....they were the days dude....we fking owned the place.......... ps i dont like sam cos he fooled me into eating sheep bollocks after telling me it was chicken>>>><yummy>
They tasted raw tbh but maybe that's the texture 2balls when in man's mouth......I can admit I'm not man enough 2b gay I'd rather go veggie and stick with the lemon sauce and parsley pubes
