Thing is mate I didn't want Bruce to go and think the way he was treated was nothing short of a disgrace. Fact is he has gone and to be honest I couldn't give less of a **** if he does well or not at Villa, it means nothing to me. If anything my dislike for Villa makes me want him to fail massively. I do care if Phelan does well and for obvious reasons and hope he performs and takes us forward. Personally I don't think he will but while he picks the team and is in charge I'll get behind him.
It is likely Allardyce will be appointed manager of some benighted Premiership team before the end of the season, but not yet. Too soon. Best wait until after Christmas when everyone has moved on.
I think Bruce was a good bloke, he was my preferred choice. But he had a face like a granny and looked like my late aunty Joyce. He couldn't put up with Ehab, he thought he was a massive tit. So he ****ed off and managed a team near where he lives even though he knows they are ****. So we're left with Mike P who looks a bit of a clueless clown. His love of making players feel ' part of something ' will almost certainly take us down. But don't be glum or get yourself all cross. We are Hull City, we can live with being dross. The ''benighted Premiership team'' wouldn't be us while the Allams are still in charge - it's no secret that SB & big Sam are best buddies, I'm guessing that Sam knows more about the behind closed doors shenanigans of our club than all our local media experts combined.
Reading about the Commons Select Committee hearing today I think it's possible they may recommend a police investigation into the game, which means maybe BFS won't be getting another job anytime soon. Clarke and Sullivan from the FA sounded like idiots who have bugger all idea and no curiosity at all about what's actually happening in the game. Warnock (and a few others, no doubt) won't sleep so easily tonight.
