I don't see what the big issue here is as he told them he'd have to check with the FA about their talks/fee? They also suggested tapping up players, managers and CEOs but Sam told them in no uncertain terms where to go on that issue.

Typical scummy journalism by the British press.

Valley it's a massive issue and i would be surprised if he keeps his job......You cant have any manager let alone an international manager selling his services on how to get around FA rules and how to get away with tapping up players for a significant fee.........This same body is paying him £3m a year as it is and he is willing to sell ways how to con the FA....it's not on....There is too much corruption in sport as it is without a person employed on trust.....He should be dismissed and banned from football for years....

But he wasn't selling his services was he? I thought he said he needs to clear the £400k with the FA first?

But I thought he told them he needs to check with his employers before accepting the fee?

Still the same with the tapping up - he told them to get stuffed on tapping up etc.
 
He said there was ways of getting around FA rules about players transfer....He is nothing but a greedy crook valley or why would he first accept a meeting with these guys not knowing they were in fact undercover reporters out to prove he is not trust worthy.......He took the bait hook line and sinker and got caught on camera speaking about how to get around his bosses rules.......Is he doing that out of the kindness of his heart or is it for a nice juicy fee.....

But he sad clear as day that for him to accept the fee he needs to check with the FA?
 
This Is big sam we are talking about and just like Harry he would not want the F.A's lawyers to give him a thorough investigation...you never know what they may find....<laugh>
 
I smell something fishy here.
The FA needed to be seen to be giving an English manager like Sam a chance to manage the national team, whilst not really wanting him to have the job. This has set-up all over it.


However, he'd keep us up wouldn't he ?
