    Hi

You may recall I wrote a letter to Morgan when we knew he was going. I was gutted when he left, but hoped he would stride the European stage. This is what I'd write now. Unlike last time I have translated!

    Morgan

    Morgan,
What have you done? You may have thrown away your chance to play for France in 2016. If you'd enjoyed a great season with us you would have been a shoo-in. Now you are a bit part player in a club of fading glory.

I hated watching you last night. You are a shadow of your former self and it was truly sad to see. You are a great player. Nothing changes that, but please get out of this situation and quickly. Maybe come home to us again?

Anyone share this view, or should I adopt the "he made his bed" attitude we'd use for the likes of Lovren?

Morgan settled after his paddy and gave us another good season and he had been a good servant to us, so nothing like Lovren.

The worst thing I have ever heard said about Morgan by anybody ever anywhere was last night on BT Sport:

Trevor Francis: "Players like Fellaini and Schneiderlin, they're not players who pass the ball very well."

Agreed, Francis is a complete numbwit, but unfortunately Morgan didn't do enough to prove the idiot wrong. Then the final crushing blow came when instead of Fellaini, who hasn't played for a month, being given a rest towards the end, it was Schneiderlin who was replaced by Schweinsteiger.

    Une telle honte.

Maybe he'll improve under the new manager. I hope so, except when we play them of course then he can be rubbish. :)

Would take him back in an instant if we could. Unfortunately his bank account probably would prevent that

But one of the most talented. I'm sad for him, though not for United obviously. I'd have liked Morg to be a shiny star, but unable to stop United being relegated. :)

Me too. One of the finest players I've ever seen in a saints shirt.

He did indeed make his choice, but I bear him no ill will at all. Fantastic player that gave us tons of great performances.

They keep showing that stat of how much better Man U's record is when he plays.

It's true that LVG really doesn't get the best out of Schneiderlin due to LVG's tactics and general incompetence, but Schneiderlin himself hasn't disappointed. They get a real manager in, he'll be fine. I'm sure that's what he's hoping for.

Oddly, I wouldn't want Schneiderlin back right now. It's too soon for him to bail on Man U. I feel like the MS I would want back would give his club a chance to turn it around instead of jumping ship after one season. Otherwise what happens if he comes back and we don't make Champion's League and/or another big club comes calling?

I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Of course, would never happen. I'll reiterate my view that LVG will go, and the manager will get players like Schneiderlin back on form. True class will rise to the top. There's barely anyone covering themselves in glory in this United side. Almost anyone would be better elsewhere in terms of form, but willing to bet none of them would leave if given the chance, so would definitely save your tears everyone!

Oh, and he'll go to France, no problem.

I bear him no ill will. But he shouldn't have risked invoking the curse of St Mary's. No good can ever come of it.
