I thought we played some decent stuff last night… against a poor team that shirt pulled, wrestled, obstructed and generally did everything they could to level the playing field. We paid for some woeful finishing and poor defending. Couldn’t have been more Leedsy really.

Not got sky .....ellands streams are very welcome but unfortunately don't always work....as I said I thought it would be the same outcome anyway and I had something to attend to, forgive me for actually missing the action and yep you are correct my opinion is based on the little I saw which was a shockingly bad pen and that's that ....still I presume that having over 30 shots and scoring 1 is a great premise for promotion

Sort of wondering that too. Is it any wonder that coaches are given such a hard time. Half a squad baled out, half of them replaced so far and some are talking about winning the league. Either delusional or lack of respect for every other team in division. Farkes best manager we've had in maybe a decade except for Bielsa and he may yet prove better in ways ie transfer market. Maybe this season is for consolidation and then try running away with the thing next season with a stronger squad of players with all the old lads and dud signings gone. 49ers will likely have to dig deep at some point to take the hit on those rats contracts from last season. Would be pointless burying the bulk of promotion money on clearing that mess

Having slept on it and got out of the right side of the bed my thoughts are last night was a thoroughly enjoyable game. A classic Cup tie with the underdogs winning the day against the better footballing team. For our part we played well, very well at times and the desire and commitment was there for all to see.

I agree with your sentiments.

As much as I was disappointed not to win I think we were unfortunate and showed a desire to win at least. So long as we carry on with winning in the league on saturday then no harm done.
