I think the salary cap is ridiculous and doesn’t actually come close to achieving what they claim it does. If Accrington Stanley actually had a wage Bill of 2.5m they would go under. It’s purely about leveling the playing field and limiting clubs like us.
This squad should be capable of getting promoted, at least with the right manager. A couple of quality loans would address the key issues. We could also supplement the squad with some signings of promising U21 players.
