Salary cap scrapped

    Apparently the salary cap has been through arbitration and found not to contravene employment rights (or something).

    Since this has been the excuse for our lack of investment for the last couple of years and the basis for our entire ‘strategy’, what next from Evans I wonder..

    More of the same I expect, every expense spared, useless washed up but cheap players, and sky high ticket prices.

    This is great news for the league and a big relief for us just a shame they announced it last year and it has meant clubs weren't able to recruit properly and also probably meant certain players are out of work who wouldn't have been.

    I'm so pleased it has been scrapped, it really would've been a race to the bottom and probably the final nail for us unless we got out of this league this year.

    Still not overly optimistic with regards to ME but this is definitely positive which ever way you look at it
