If thinking like that softens the blow for you fella. I'd say it's bad management at the club not being able to judge the ability and potential of players such as Salah and De Bruyne.

maybe but the club still managed 2 PL trophies without them in the years they left.

Would have been nice to have 2 world class players (at the moment, they might have been left to rot on our bench still) but i'm not going to go ranting and raving that we could have had more

Agree with De Bruyne but Salah was nothing special at the time. No need to soften the blow, we've done alright without him. <ok>
