But "the goods" have so far won zilch which could change with two more wins in the FA Cup, Kane is a brilliant striker in the mould of an old fashioned all out striker, selfish in a good sense for his team, so I'm far from dissing Harry.
Just saying at present Salah is better.....so keep your hair on.:afro:

Never said you were dissing Harry.

You were just jumping to conclusions about a point I never even made with regards to devaluing assists, when I was actually saying how assists worked in Salah's favour going by the logic that one season makes a player better than another, as he'd statistically been better than Ronaldo.

Well he's top of the tree in the race for the Golden Shoe.

So "technically" he is better than him (so far) this season.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Haha, it's just desperation mate.

The Goons for so long have been crying out for someone to be better than Harry, obviously they were hoping their £100m+ worth of strikers would be but after realising they've bought a pair of duds, they've resorted to having a ****fest over Salah and even found themselves being pally with Utd fans.

Wow, I go away for a couple of hours and this thread goes full tilt Spursy ;)

Why is it irrelevant ? They might play different positions, but they are both attacking players with bags of goals and probably the two best players in the league atm.

The question is valid. You just don’t like it.

Comparing a seasoned Premier league striker who's been top of the goal scoring charts for 3 seasons running to someone who's had 1 great season.

Embarassing

<applause>
Exactly, me Bredrin.

All that Pixie has done by starting this ill-advised thread is to signal just how rattled he is that Spurs now have, not only the striker we have been desperately calling for these past ten years or so, but we have the best striker in the World!

This is an embarrassingly poor wum thread.

^^^^ Rattled.

Amazing how Spursy you Spuds have got over a straight forward comparison <laugh>

Salah has been better this season, for sure.

I disagree.

Salah has only been so good because the rest of 'Pool's players have been pretty average.

With Spurs, we've had so may of our players continue to step up to the plate - Eriksen, Dembele, Dier, Vertonghen, Davies, Son, Sanchez, etc - that Kane's role isn't an isolated one. I'd argue that he's the better player because he has learned to integrate with the team, making everyone stronger.

Let's see how Salah does next season, when managers and players have had the Summer to work on how to nullify him. If he has another cracking season, then I think we can re-assess.

Until then, this thread is premature and ill-advised.

On the other thread Goonz are fuming that Poch disrespected their recent past achievements by saying what he did and suggesting the better team are Spurs regardless yet on this thread Kane's recent past achievements don't say anything and Salah's one season, current season suggests he is better<laugh>

Sky4 fanboys have just debunked themselves <laugh>

<applause>
Agreed, me Bredrin.

The OP hasn't thought this through carefully enough. He saw a chance to wum and jumped in both feet, not realising that they'd end up going straight into his mouth!

Ill-advised and premature.

Why wait? It's just a question about who's better right now. Only people saying wait are Spurs fans who can't take a bit of competition for their golden boy.

I'm a United fan ffs and I'm saying Salah, are you Spuds really that insecure?

Nobody is saying Kane is ****, but Salah is better. Ronaldo is better than both, Messi is better than everyone. Tough ****.

Err no. People are asking on this thread who's the better player. On the other they are saying that Pooch has no right to write off the FA cup seeing as he's won **** all. Glad I could clear that up for you :)

Calm down, Pix! Spurly is only putting forward an argument. He isn't trying to proposition you!

... in terms of 'player of the season' then I'd be having Salah and KDB over Harry ... based primarily on the 'difference; they have made to their respective clubs this season...

And if Spurs finish above 'Pool, which is looking quite likely, Bambs?

I reckon he'll do well next season to be fair, mate.

Kroos and Modric supplying him should result in a high amount of goals, especially as the defending in La Liga is a bit suspect.

It's all about entertainment now is it and not achievements? <laugh>

That makes Spurs the second best team to City according to the majority of the footballing world. Pool are a close 3rd but their piss poor midfield and defense let them down, good team nevertheless

<applause>
I have highlighted the essential part of your post, me Bredrin.

The wumsters on this board forget these types of facts, but they always come back to haunt them.
