Kelvin Davis - 7, No chance on the goals. A few good saves and did what he needed to do.

Nathaniel Clyne - 6, averaged from: 8 for defending, 4 for always ignoring a pass on the edge of the box.defensively I feel he could have been better.
Jose Fonte - 6, Had a reasonable game but has shown over the past year he is getting past it.
Jos Hooiveld - 6 Would've been higher if he would stay with the runner!!!
Danny Fox - 3 Second Prem game and he is still as bad as in the Championship. Tries to show off too much and could cost us lots of goals this season.

Morgan Schneiderlin - 6, Does his job without being spectacular. Wast better last week
Steven Davis - 6 Looking like a good signing, not sure what position he is supposed to be in though. Poping up on the left and right.
Adam Lallana - 7 Played well but just like Guly, when he looks up there are no options.

Jay Rodriguez - 4 He should be backup for Lambert not on the left wing. Anonymous last week and even more so this week.
Rickie Lambert - 6, Let down by those around him, no service. Not a lot he could do wrong with little possession.
Guly do Prado - 6 Was made to look bad because of the lack of options. Tried not to waste possession but if there's no pass on he gets tackled. Also Clyne's decisions to constantly ignore him mean he starts drifting into the midfield looking for the ball.

James Ward-Prowse - 5 Not an impact sub so not sure what he had been asked to do.
Billy Sharp - 6 Not good enough for Prem. Extra point though for being good at diving and getting a couple of free kicks.

Opinion so far. Rodriguez should be back up, Fonte neds replacing, Clyne needs to be told to pass the ball, Lallana needs to be in the front 3 not the centre 3, Fox needs replacing. Otherwise looking good.

Basically I agree on everything except the Guly remark, half way through the 2nd half he was withdrawn into the hole, behind the forwards and this limited his mobility, Spider was basically marked out of the game Wigan had done their homework on him, and JWP came on and made mistakes, I would have preferred Chaplow to put some fazaz into the proceedings, always clever to be wise after the event.

You were not at the same
Game as me if Morgan got a 5....he was a strong 7! Covered more premier league ground than any other player today apparently!

You've been away from the PL for a while, so why on the 1st appearance at home there were so many empty seats?

29,604 was the attendance, Wigan hardly brought any down and only returned the tickets on thursday. Plus some people only brought tickets so they could go to the Manc game.
