Fab performance and JWP returning to his best lifts the whole team On Ralph Subs AA was doing great at LB until Gill came on and started skinning him ... so Ralph brought Redders on and neutralised the threat
I don't think it's a coincidence that the defence seemed more balanced and solid today even after the red card, KWP is an all round better RB than Tino which is unsurprising given the latter's lack of experience although I realise that this may be an unpopular opinion.
I agree. What would be fair is that whenever it is replayed only players that were on the books at the time can play. I know that would never happen but would stop us playing against Neymar and Messi in the rearranged fixture.
I have zero sympathy for the “elite” clubs when they start complaining about fatigue and having to play too many games. In the first instance they have squads that are generally rammed full with top international players, so they can better rotate tired players compared to other clubs without a loss of quality. And second, if they are playing too many games they could petition UEFA to return European tournaments to straight forward knockout games, instead of chasing pounds by playing in mini leagues. Basically they can **** off.
KWP is a better RB than Tino (at the moment), but he’s also a better LB than Perraud. So I’d say our strongest back four has Tino and KWP in it. Hopefully with more game time Perraud can reach their level though.
Thank god. Magic is back. Was worried about you with all your positivity for a bit there But that underlines the stupid situation, we could play them on Sunday and JWP could get a hatrick, or we could play the rearranged game and he score one against us.
Yes, I think they are (although we're not) and it's ****housery. Particularly from the likes of Brentford and Newcastle. I kinda don't blame them, but that doesn't stop me from thinking it's completely wrong.
he’s an all round better ball player. It took him all of 2 games to become one of the best on the pitch at LB after 2 seasons on the R. Tino, in time will become better, possibly Bale good and move up field.
MOTD Lineker. (ex Spurs) Well here we are again looking at ridiculously close offside decisions..........blah blah blah......goalkeepers get too much protection.....blah blah. Continue in same vein for 10 mins. Wrighty. That's not taking anything away from Southampton though. Lineker. Indeed Well, that's all we've got time for. Goodnight.
