Imagine that’s Armstrong and Robinson central in a 5-3-2 type thing.

 

Decent enough team. I'd have liked to see one of Stewart/Downs start but no real complaints other than that.

 

I think Wood has full back experience, if we can switch to a back four in possession and push Fraser up the pitch then I see the logic.

Edwards, Q & THB have all struggled at various points thus far.

Would prefer a focal point up top, but if we can press them into errors then Armstrong is probably our best finisher

 

Back to having a good bench anyway. Could be dangerous second half.

 

I don’t understand the persistence with Armstrong. Or Wellington over Manning

 

I think Still's idea is to start cautiously every match and then let rip if we need to in the second half.
I'd prefer it if we were a bit more adventurous from the start, especially at home, but it's getting results so far I guess.

I don't think anyone, anywhere, ever, has been excited about playing Stoke.

I dont think that's his plan at all. There was nothing cautious about us in the first half against Ipswich with the same shape.
