And has a history of scoring against us (or rather our youth teams), for Man City and West Ham before that according to TSP
The odds are too good not to really. Can get stoke draw or win for not far off evens which I find surprising. Stoke look good - I think 2-2.
Stoke have only played Derby and Sheffield Wednesday so far. Not saying that today won't be tricky, it will but I'm holding fire on the "Stoke look good" line until they've played teams who won't be fighting at the wrong end of the table.
Think he got a hat trick in the u21 final against us in May, but Jack Stephens will be a sterner test
They can only play the teams in front of them and it's hard to argue that they haven't looked very good against both, with two comfortable wins. For all we know Wrexham could be down there too so you can't just ignore 2 strong performances.
Im not ignoring them just saying that today will be a whole different level of opposition for them. Let's see how they deal with it.
We should be improving now too, and we have our two main strikers back and available*. *warm-up dependent.
Pretty sure I read that they weren’t up to much against Derby, should have been behind before turning it on for the last 10 minutes when they scored the goals that won them the game. I wouldn’t call 90+5 and 90+9 a comfortable win.
They scraped by with a 3-1 win then Possibly similar to how we got two late goals against Wrexham. I think it will be a close game.
Except we dominated Wrexham for most of the game so you could say the late goals winning us the game were a reflection of the game. I’m saying that Stoke didn’t play well against Derby, except for the last 10 minutes when they scored the winning goals. You just said they looked very good in both games and had 2 comfortable wins. I’m disagreeing with that. A wins a win, and they have some momentum and a decent attack so not saying today won’t be tough though.
