Good thread good times. Sadly I'm working so not even listening to this. Agree with line up (sorry Pelle). Davis makes the difference mane must start. Elia to come on for tadic at 60m once we establish he has drifted out of the game.
I`m going too, and so is AberdeenSaint Junior. Driving down from Aberdeen tomorrow afternoon, overnight in Manchester, long weekend in Soton. . I`m stoked !
Wow fair play, that's some round trip, all worth it if we win, an even longer trip home if we lose. Takes me 2 and a half hours each way, motorway permitting, that's long enough, good luck Aberdeen saint. I am in block 36 for this one, haven't been in that block for a while. Should be a good atmos.
Jelavic has started whenever fit, he's definitely first choice as you say. Robertson is a first choice player when fit, depending on the opposition, he's great going forward, but is iffy defensively. Davies is now 5th choice CB, he hasn't played since January and unless we suffer a couple of injuries we're unlikely to see him again this season, he's definitely not currently a first choice player. Ramirez has started the last few, but he's only started eleven games all season and has only played 90 mins 3 or 4 times, he's very much been a bit part player. We've badly missed Diame, he was our best player ahead of his injury, he looked a bit rusty against Swansea and may well start on the bench, but I'd still start him personally.
Gaston has always been a bit injury prone. Huge talent but no consistency.Assume he couldnt play Saturday anyway.
Thanks - we`re in the Northam somewhere, my pal got our tickets this time. I fly back on Monday, but my son is staying in Warsash for 4 months. He`ll get to the Spuds and Villa games too.
Keep forgetting about Gardos. His chances have been reduced by the arrival of Toby and the improvement in Yoshida.
