That and basically they have a chances per game and goals per game formulation that puts clubs from all over in a league. They then identify clubs high up that list that you wouldn't expect and identify targtes from within that squad.

How cute is Victor I agree he looks wary, but I think he is a safe pair of lips for an interview...his answers are diplomatic and uninformative. Perfect.

 

Would like to see Josemi start, see what he can do. Would like JWP to get a decent run as well if Ron can shoehorn him in somewhere

 

I think Mane should start and get a 'slight' hamstring tweak keeping him out until the international break

 

I think we might see Martina and Caulker in from the start as Midtjylland are supposed to be physical and good from set pieces.

I have finally learnt how to spell Midtjylland, but be redundant soon.

 

With Caulker back I think there could be a strong chance that Yoshida will move to left back as with the Vitesse away leg. I think there is a doubt about Targett being able to play two games in quick succession.

Also if Midtjylland play like Stoke under Pulis with big throws etc then we'll need the additional height.

 

Is Delap playing for them by any chance?

 

Ron mentioning long throws scared the bejeesus out of me. Our strength (at least last season) was giving few chances to other teams, but as Ron said corners and long throws are chances you don't have to work for.

 

When was the last time we conceded from either?

 

Well, last season we didn't concede from a corner but so far this season we've conceded from two. That we took.

That's what was worrying me. Need a good defensive display tonight to wipe Everton from my mind. That was only one game I know, but important that we demonstrate that was a one off tonight.

 

And the last time we actually scored from a corner must be James Beattie v Man U in 2003.
