At this time right now, I would play Lallana behind Sturridge and play Sterling and another wide player either side of Sturridge, maybe Rooney.
Sounds good, but really Lallana would be so good in the Liverpool team right now. He would easily fit into our team, seeing how Southampton and Liverpool player a similar style
One of the guys who I do some work for is a Liverpool fan, and he text me to say Lallana is so good and he really hopes he ends up at Anfield.
Hart, Forster, Foster Walker, Johnson Jagielka,Cahill,Caulker,Jones Baines,Shaw Cork,Henderson,Gerrard, Barkley Sterling,Chamberlain, Lallana,Rooney Townsend,Welbeck Sturridge, Lambert Would be my squad. I wanted to pick Rodriguez and Clyne but don't think they have a chance.
The Independent have given man of the match to Adam Lallana, and suggest he could take Wilshere's place in the starting eleven. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ith-man-of-the-match-performance-9171924.html
Yet again the England team looks better without Rooney. I just wish that with all the hype about him, an England manager would have the courage not to play him. To be fair, he normally plays well for Man Utd (although not £300,000 well) but I can't recall the last time he played well for England.
I would like one manager one day to pick a starting 11 on merit for the best players, as opposed to the standard Rooney starting, Wilshere starting, the latter I think is particularly useless. Wilshere spends the majority of his time on the ground whining than actually kicking a ball about.
Rooney is a fantastic player, he does start on merit. His England form may be questionable, but whose isn't?
All this media attention about Adam is getting me worried. I don't mind Shaw moving on to pastures anew, but seeing Adam playing for someone else would genuinely break my heart. Someone reassure me please?
Rooney would be in my squad but not starting. Looks like he has no desire. Put him on the bench, wind him up, taunt him, show him a mirror cruelly and chuck him on with 20m left. Lallana was fantastic, so proud to be a saints fan. And Shaw ofc.
