The 'wide and cross' stuff doesn't particularly suit Gabbi (unless it's near post and low). He needs someone who can slot a smart ball into the channels to get 20+.

One question....can you have full highlights? They are either highlights or the full game...can't be both.

Austin stuttered his run up to help send Hart down early.
I thought Charlie was just trolling Noble in his post match interview, but it was smart play. Austin usually hits a firm penalty, so a keeper knows he has to move early to stand a chance. With the run up, Charlie sent him packing

As I mentioned in a previous post - was interesting seeing Hart have an in-depth whispering session with Fonte prior to the penalty. That's clearly where he and Noble got his info from....!

I really can't agree with this. Our attacking play is actually really good - it's lack of finishing composure that is the issue. Davis and Cedric again doing brilliantly to get on the end of good attacking moves but wasting those opportunities. I suspect that in training this week they have been told to hit first time without thinking too much in an effort to change luck in front of goal - but alas - same result. Gabby and Charlie are the finishers - albeit Gabby looking a bit one footed. We need to focus more on getting service to these 2 on their preferred sides. Would love to see them playing at same time but don't think this will happen unless chasing a game. As for the managers, I did feel for Puel but I'm much happier with Pellegrino - he shows much more passion and involvement during the game and I think it's clear the players like him and that's really important. Again, fans and team spirit brilliant yesterday. Another special mention from me on the pre match build up routine with music and frenzy prior to kick off. Love that the club are taking that seriously and working on it.

First of all, it's Pellegrino. Second of all, our attacking play has significantly improved from what I've seen. I was at the Swansea game and we created enough clear chances to win easily. I've only seen the highlights of the West Ham game so can't comment too much on that game. But it is early days with Pellegrino and I've seen enough to think we can have a good season.

I think the addition of Gabby means that someone can make a change. Once the players start to see his runs Behind defenders, then we'll look very creative.

Ps. I'm sure Puel will be thrilled <laugh>

We have been lectured time and time again on here about the crowd not making enough noise and not getting behind the team, Saints find a solution and you complain about the noise!
