I know Fraser 'Flappy' Forster was looking a bit clumsy at times, but "Brian the Storm" although not as bad as predicted, was playing tricks with the higher balls at times, just saying! The modern football also has the propensity to behave like a bar of soap in those conditions.
Fran - it's quite obvious that Sofiane IS the new Messi (but not Maradona because he only uses his feet) and such reasoned posts could ruin the reputation of this forum!
As reports go a bit of a curates egg - Hot Cup of Bovril and a packet of Red Leicester Mini Cheddars is all you get.
I'm just sounding a note of caution. Today Sofiane made a big difference, but I have heard fans sighing in the past when he tried too hard and lost the ball. We all want to see skilful players and we secretly hope to unearth another MLT, but there is often a price to pay for that. I'm not saying Mauricio is right or wrong....I am saying that I understand such decisions aren't straight forward. Perhaps Sofiane isn't suited to starting a game, but for now will be an impact sub. The strange thing about being an unpopular manager is that all losses are down to you, whereas any win is despite you.
Been up twice and got taken down twice. I've seen a bad video of it. It was so bad I don't think anyone could recognise it.
So you're not happy when we win, and not happy when we lose. Seems odd you choose to watch football at all tbh.
Well, that was an improvement and enjoyable to watch!! Nice to see VVD looking like he cared again today. Great to see Boufal come on and prove a point. Excellent performance, in my opinion, against a tough West Brom side. Certainly an excellent foundation to move on with now!!
Might be because I come across them more (OK it almost certainly is) but I think our fans are the worst in the country. Bunch of complete self entitled ****s who think we should be challenging Europe every year because we did it a couple of times recently, utter morons.
Maybe, but as fans over the last two Years maybe we are fed up with caution and just occasionally want to be elated. I do get you point of feet on the ground etc etc, but after the months of drivel we have had, tonight is not the night to piss on the sparks of optimism we can see, I am sure the team will do that to us soon enough. But for now BELIEVE
Hah! I see my fine fellow that you have failed to grasp the nuances of the Kreuzberg scoring system as many could point out that " A Hot Cup of Bovril and a packet of Red Leicester Mini Cheddars" is one of the highest accolades one can receive! lol
I didn't say it was a bad effort, but has merit and deserves something, a pint of Dandelion and Hemlock is the alternative
Austin made a great run but Sophi chose to shoot, shows the lad has not lost his confidence. Monday morning sophi should be called into MP office and told he will start the next 12 games and to make the NO 10 role his own
I agree but it happens to most teams when they are improving season upon season as it's only a matter of time before it plateaux. Fans of Leicester and Swansea have been exactly the same in recent years.
Just one thing quick, with 5 goals in two games... I've decided that this is definitely a thing now: #TLL'sGoalsGaloreMatchThreads Brighton thread will be up Monday or maybe tomorrow if I'm not too hungover I'm off on the piss, have a good evening everyone
