    Yep, missing my 2nd game of the season (it's only f**king November ffs) as I've offspring duties to perform and my wife had to visit her sick mum in the midlands so cannot provide backup.

    It really demonstrates how much has changed in the decade or so since I last had a season ticket. ST holders for a club like Saints get a rough deal these days.
    And no, I don't want a cheap scarf, or a free beer when I have to drive Mr Gao. I just want to see my team play and win occasionally.

    Easing into matchday here in Ghent, came down from The Hague Thursday, went to Woody's bar to see if the game is on there and went back several times to confirm. Have to take care and check the beer menus for % there's some lethal brews on the lists.

    My record was mother’s day present for the wife from my lad. On the way back from a game at st Marys when he was younger, he asked what I’d got his mum... sh1t.

    Pulled over onto a retail park in Newbury at about 7pm, walked into next, picked up a top on the first rack, checked the size, paid for it. Job done. My lad asked if I thought mum would like it and I have him an early lesson: “doesn’t matter son, I’ve got the receipt. Never give them the money or a voucher; always buy something, but keep the receipt and don’t waste too much time getting it because they’ll change it anyway.”

    It is fully open, southbound.
    IT IS FULLY OPEN SOUTHBOUND. <party>

    It was sooooooo good not to queue up after having finished work.
